Fabco Automotive Corporation (Emeryville, CA.) Al Sunderland, President of Fabco Automotive Corporation announced today a significant agreement with Sisu Axles of Finland. Under this agreement Fabco Automotive Corporation will introduce a complete line of Sisu front and rear hub reduction drive axles in North America, effective immediately. In his statement regarding the agreement, Al Sunderland, President of Fabco said, "This agreement greatly broadens and compliments our current product line and allows us to continue advancing our strategic initiative aimed at expanding the scope of our product offering across all markets we serve." Sunderland went on to say, "For years, Fabco has been a Tier 1 supplier of steerable drive axles, transfer cases, and PTO's for both on-highway and off-highway, heavy-duty vehicle manufacturers. The addition of the Sisu products allows us to more completely meet the needs of a much wider range of customers across the full spectrum of applications including axle capacities from 10,000 to 105,000 pounds. And, while the addition of the Sisu products has broadened our standard product line, we will continue our commitment to meet our customer's special needs through aggressive new product design and development.
